Neurofibrosarcoma in Von Recklinghausen's disease presenting with hypochromic anaemia.

A patient with Von Recklinghausen's disease who developed a retroperitoneal neurofibrosarcoma is described. The presenting clinical picture was one of hypochromic anaemia with a large mass palpable in the left hypochondrium.
